Body Type S
Body type S is characterized by a slimmer mid-section and a small difference between the hips, shoulders, and bust. This body type is similar to the classic hourglass shape, but the difference between the waist and other measurements is not that big. Women with body type S are the standard, to which, most garments are sewn and majority of cuts are made. This body type can wear mostly anything.
Objective: To create with little effort – emphasizing the waist – the hourglass shape.

CLOTHING RECOMMENDATIONS
THE UPPER BODY – Adding a belt to fitted blouses, sweaters and tops brings out he curves. Clothes that are light and flowing away from the body can be worn, but they will not help emphasize the figure. Long or knee-length wrap-dresses that tie under the breasts or on the waist are a good choice. Well-fitted cuts – jackets, blouses, coats, dresses can also have a waistline that is brought under the breasts.
NECKLINE – Deeper cleavage and V-neck.
BELT & ACCESSORIES – A wide belt, wrap, eye-catching buckle, waist-length jewelry, or other accent details emphasize the waist.
THE LOWER BODY – Straight and tight-fitting pants with a low waist. Knee-length pencil skirts, short and long wide skirts, and also floor-length dresses.
SWIMWEAR & BIKINI – This body type has a greater freedom when picking out swimwear and bikini. Ruching and embellishments will make the body appear more curvy. Shoulder straps could be at the central part of the shoulder, for other versions make the shoulders appear either bigger or smaller. The top of the two part swimsuit should be darker at the waist, tight, and extend to the mid-section – that will make the waist seem slimmer.
THE DON'T-s
THE UPPER BODY – Flowing top, which ends at the widest part of the hips. Avoid the cuts that will lose the waist (wide straight blazer, A-line blouse). If required by the current trend, straight-cut blazers and A-line blouses can be combined with leggings, tight fitting trousers or short skirts, preferably together with heeled shoes.
THE LOWER BODY – Puffy, frilled, pants or skirts, that have a rubber band or are tie up type, completely lose the waistline.
